The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) announced the Class 10 and Class 12 examination results for the academic session 2024–25 on Tuesday.
CM Mohan Yadav and School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh declared the results at Samatva Bhavan, the CM’s official residence in Bhopal.
Continuing a consistent trend, girls outperformed boys in Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. They secured higher overall scores and claimed the top spots in the state merit lists.
Pragya Jaiswal from Singrauli topped the Class 10 exams with a perfect score of 500 out of 500. In Class 12, Priyal Dwivedi from Satna led the merit list with 492 marks out of 500.
This year, the overall pass percentage stood at 76.22% for Class 10 and 74.48% for Class 12.
A total of 16.6 lakh students appeared for the exams—approximately 9.53 lakh in Class 10 and 7.06 lakh in Class 12.
The MP Board conducted the Class 10 exams from February 27 to March 21, while Class 12 students wrote their papers from February 25 to March 25.
During the result announcement ceremony, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav congratulated the successful students and offered words of encouragement to those who didn’t meet expectations.
“This is not the end of the road,” he said.
He further added, “Under the New Education Policy 2020, students who failed or are unhappy with their marks will get another opportunity to appear for exams in July or August. Setbacks happen, but don’t lose heart—prepare again and move forward.”
Students can view their results on the official MP Board website.
