Mother and Three Children Found Dead in Tragic Incident; Husband Detained for Interrogation

A tragic incident unfolded in Ahmadpur village, Maanpur district of Sitapur, where a mother and her three children lost their lives on Wednesday.

Dispute between the couple

According to authorities, the woman, identified as Rajkumari (32), consumed poison along with her children Sumit (8), Neha (5), and Sandhya (3), following a dispute with her husband, Sanjeevan. Superintendent of Police Chakresh Mishra confirmed that all four individuals succumbed to the poison.

The incident is believed to be a consequence of marital discord. The aftermath of the incident has led to the detention and interrogation of Rajkumari’s husband, Sanjeevan.

Bodies sent for post-mortem

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, while police presence has been reinforced in the area to maintain law and order, as stated by Mishra.
