“Most Pained, Anguished By Terrible Train Disaster In Odisha”, Says Sonia Gandhi

Sonia Gandhi, former Congress president expressed her sympathies to the deceased families following a devastating railway disaster in Odisha on Saturday.

On Friday, a crash involving the Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express, the Shalimar-Chennai Central Coromandel Express, and the goods train in Odisha’s Balasore killed at least 261 people and injured almost 1,000 more.

In a statement, the chairperson of the Congress’s parliamentary party, Sonia Gandhi said, “I am most pained and anguished by the terrible train disaster in Odisha”.

”I extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to all the bereaved families”, Mrs. Gandhi added.
