Modi’s mother is no more! Heeraben breathed her last!

PM Modi’s Mother, Heeraben Modi, passed away days after hospitalisation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was about to visit West Bengal for launching a series of projects, has now left for Gujarat. As per the sources, he will be joining the events via video conferencing from Ahmedabad.

“A glorious century rests at the feet of God… In Maa, I have always felt that trinity, which includes the journey of an ascetic, the symbol of a selfless Karmayogi and a life committed to values,” in a heartfelt tribute writes the Prime Minister in his post informing about Mother’s demise.

The Prime Minister writes further, “When I met her on his 100th birthday, she had said one thing – Always remember, work with intelligence and live life with purity!”

Mother Heeraben was living with PM Modi’s younger brother, Pankaj Modi, at Raysan village, close to Gandhinagar. PM Modi would regularly visit Raysan and spend time with mom every time during his Gujarat visits.

This year in the month of June,  the Prime Minister wrote a blog on her grand 99th birthday. In his blog, PM Modi wrote over various aspects of his mom’s life which “shaped his personality, mind and self-confidence.”

“This is going to be her birth centenary year. If my father had been alive, he too would have celebrated his 100th birthday last week. 2022 is a special year as my mother’s centenary year is starting, and my father would have completed his,” he had written in the blog post.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben was 100 years old. She breathed her last in a hospital in Ahmedabad. Heera Ba was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday evening after her health deteriorated suddenly.

Earlier, on Thursday, information was given by the Gujarat government that PM Modi’s mother is now recovering well and she can be discharged from the hospital soon.

Heeraben was undergoing treatment at UN Mehta Hospital in Ahmedabad. The doctors of UN Mehta Hospital had found an age-related problem in their initial examination. Doctors said that most of Heeraben’s reports are normal. Her blood pressure, 2D echo report was also told normal. Nothing unexpected came out in the CT scan also. But, the Providence had decided something else. Mom Heeraben died on Friday morning.
