The alleged murder of an 85-year-old woman has led to the detention of a 17-year-old boy in Pimpri, India. The crime, according to the police, was undertaken so that he could pay the girlfriend’s bail.
A 17-year-old boy has been detained by the Pimpri-Chinchwad police for the suspected murder of an 85-year-old widow in Pimpri. The kid had a relationship with a female who was in jail on attempted murder charges from a different case, the Pimpri police reported. As her bail given by the court required a substantial sum of money, the accused hatched a plan to secure the necessary funds by committing another crime, said police officials.
On July 30, the minor entered the house of the elderly woman, Shalubai Rupa Salvi, an old widow. The elderly woman is claimed to have been brutally attacked by the minor, who then killed her. After the crime, he looted the house, concentrating on gold jewelry and cellphones.

“During the investigation, we discovered that the accused was in a relationship and had previously lived with a girl,” said Ram Rajmane, senior police inspector (SPI) of Pimpri Police Station. He needed money to pay for her bail after his live-in partner was detained in accordance with IPC section 307. He intended to murder the old woman and commit a robbery at her house in order to make quick money.
