‘May This Festival Bring New Sweetness In Relationships,: PM Modi Celebrates Raksha Bandhan With Children

The festival of Rakshabandhan is being celebrated with great pomp across the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated Rakshabandhan with school children at his residence. PM Modi received Rakhis from the children and engaged in conversation with them, looking very happy. A video of the event has surfaced.

In the video, PM Modi’s wrist is adorned with multiple Rakhis. A girl even tied a Rakhi featuring a picture of his mother, Hira Ben, with a message of ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam.’

After receiving the Rakhis, PM Modi blessed the children. The video is going viral on social media, and people are sharing various reactions. PM Modi celebrates Rakshabandhan with young children every year.

Greeting on Social Media

Earlier, PM Modi wished the countrymen a Happy Rakshabandhan on the social media platform X. He wrote, “Many best wishes to all the countrymen on the festival of Rakshabandhan, a symbol of immense affection between brother and sister. May this holy festival bring new sweetness to your relationships and happiness, prosperity, and good fortune in your lives.”

President’s Best Wishes

President Droupadi Murmu also extended her wishes to the countrymen on Rakshabandhan. She wrote on X, “On the auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the countrymen. This festival, based on the love and mutual trust between brother and sister, fosters affection and respect towards all sisters and daughters. I hope that on this festival, all countrymen pledge to ensure the safety and respect of women in our society.”

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar offered his heartfelt wishes for Rakshabandhan. He posted, “The celebration of the sacred bond between brother and sister is an occasion that reflects our commitment to support and cherish each other. On this auspicious occasion, let us commit to upholding the dignity and respect of women and creating an environment where they can thrive and realize their full potential.”
