Mass Marriage: Uttarakhand to witness 22 girls’ mass marriage organized by MLA Umesh Kumar in Haridwar

Spirit of service, no matter where you are and no matter what you do, is always admirable. If there is a spirit of service, a person considers the problems of the society as his own and tries to solve it in the same mindset. Umesh Kumar representing Khanpur assembly constituency of Haridwar (Uttarakhand) has shown the same epitome of the spirit.

A Member of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly, Umesh Kumar has taken such a decision and it has given him the stature of a messiah for the needy around his constituency. He, taking a big decision to conduct 22 girls’ mass wedding, is now bringing this resolve to the surface of reality on January 28.

This wedding event will be held at Chandan Palace in Luxor, Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Significantly, couples of different religions will be married in this inspirational function of mass marriage.

Here are the lucky couples

In this memorable function of the mass wedding, Karishma with Prashant, Ajita with Ajesh, Swati with Nikhil, Priyanka with Ashu Skrampal, Swati with Ankit, Komal with Rahul, Swati with Ankash, Preeti with Arjun, Manika with Surender, Shivani with Akash, Sonia with Ovilash, Kajal with Milan, Hasan Jahan with Sulaiman, Farmani with Afzal, Rakhi with Shubham, Shaloo with Gagan, Noor Jahan with Parvez, Bhuriya with Ankit, Anjum with Usman, Ayesha with Shavez and Farzana along with Amjad are going to get married.

Umesh Kumar is originally a farmer

The forty-four-year-old MLA from Khanpur is known as a popular leader in his constituency. Umesh Kumar won the 2022 Uttarakhand Assembly elections as an independent candidate from Khanpur. According to the election affidavit filed in the Election Commission, his profession is agriculture. A graduate, owning around 9 crores of property, Umesh Kumar is also running a media organization.

In an exclusive conversation with Riwa Singh, Head, Digital News, Bharat Express, Umesh Kumar revealed that eight months ago in May 2022 also he organized a mass marriage camp where 15 girls got married. In his mass marriage compound, both Hindu Vivah along with Muslim Nikah get done with proper traditional style.

With no regret, Umesh Kumar says he has not received any word of thanks or appreciation from any party but he is more than delighted about the people’s support for his cause. Last time in May 2022 around five thousand people gathered during his mass marriage function and now he expects around ten thousand people this time.

Equally important to know is that Umesh Kumar does it out of his own will from his own pocket. Not only this, he also gives the girls all the required basic household things the way otherwise is done by the parents of the girls getting married as dowry.

But what Umesh Kumar does is not dowry, it is the visualized beauty of this goodness with a will to help the society as much as he could.

Bharat Express not only congratulates MLA Umesh Kumar for this lovely piece of human service but also says against his such inspirational deeds – KUDOS !!!
