Manoj Tiwari Urges Delhi University Students To Reject Misinformation And Prioritise Nation Building

Lok Sabha MP Manoj Tiwari urged students of Maharaja Agrasen College, University of Delhi, to uphold strong values, acquire diverse skills and pursue their ambitions with dedication. He stressed that young people must actively contribute to national development and avoid spreading misinformation on social media.

Tiwari delivered these remarks during the oath-taking ceremony of the college’s newly elected Students’ Union on October 14, 2026. He encouraged Gen-Z students to use digital platforms responsibly and protect the national interest.

Tiwari urged students to join the Yamuna cleanliness drive scheduled for October 18, 2026. He assured them that the college would establish an NCC battalion for boys at the earliest.

Principal Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Tiwari encouraged students to pursue entrepreneurship instead of limiting their ambitions to conventional jobs. He highlighted student elections as an expression of democratic values and urged young people to follow Swami Vivekananda’s message: “Arise, awake and stop not until the goal is reached.”

Chief Guest Manoj Tiwari administered the oath of office and duty to the newly elected representatives.

Niharika Yadav became president, Priyanshi Tyagi vice-president, Shalik Yadav general secretary and Siddharth Sharma joint secretary.
