Manoj Tiwari Completes 110 Km Barefoot Yatra; Credits Mahadev

Delhi North-East MP and BJP leader Manoj Tiwari completed a 110 km barefoot Kanwar Yatra, arriving in Delhi at midnight carrying the sacred Kanwar with utmost reverence.

Sharing his experience, Tiwari expressed that the journey’s driving force was none other than Lord Mahadev himself.

Chanting ‘Hail Bholenath, Hail Vaidyanath’, he credited divine power for granting him the strength to endure the arduous pilgrimage.

Tiwari described the yatra as both physically demanding and spiritually enriching.

Taking to X, he posted, “Hail Bholenath.. Hail Vaidyanath.. I reached Delhi at midnight.. 110 km on foot.. barefoot.. carrying the Kanwar with care.. The power that drove me, that brought me here, was none other than Mahadev himself.”

Support & Recognition

Soon after completing his journey, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta personally called Manoj Tiwari to enquire about his well-being.

Delhi Chief Minister @gupta_rekha ji called to check on me.. We will meet soon,” Tiwari posted on X.

The call underscored the cultural and spiritual significance of the Kanwar Yatra, which unites people across political and social lines through shared devotion.

The Kanwar Yatra holds deep spiritual meaning for devotees of Lord Shiva, symbolising surrender, perseverance and faith.

Manoj Tiwari’s decision to walk barefoot across 110 km and carry the sacred Kanwar with care reflected his personal devotion and respect for the tradition.

His journey echoed the sentiments of millions of Kanwariyas who undertake similar pilgrimages each year.

After reaching Delhi, Tiwari announced that he would be at home between 9 AM and 10:30 AM, allowing well-wishers to meet him and share in the spiritual fulfilment of his journey.

” My feet are blistered.. but I am experiencing a divine feeling. I will be at home from 9 AM to 10:30 AM,” he posted.

His completion of the yatra added another layer to his public persona, not just as a politician and artist, but also as a devotee deeply rooted in cultural and religious traditions.

Manoj Tiwari’s Kanwar Yatra serves as a reminder of the enduring power of faith, where physical endurance meets spiritual surrender, and where the divine presence of Bholenath and Vaidyanath continues to inspire millions.
