The meeting comes as Manipur continues to work towards restoring stability following the ethnic violence that broke out between the Meitei and Kuki-Zo communities on May 3, 2023.
The state has taken steps to restore inter-state connectivity. Bus services between Imphal, Dimapur and Guwahati resumed on August 21 after remaining suspended for more than three years, improving travel links between Manipur, Nagaland and Assam.
