Mahant Divya Giri, the esteemed Mahant of the Mankameshwar Temple in Lucknow and the national president of the women’s wing of Juna Akhara, ‘Sanyasini Shri Panchdashnam Juna Akhara’, has lauded the significant service efforts of the Adani Group during the ongoing Maha Kumbh.
Known for her active involvement in preserving Indian culture and her role as a spiritual leader, Mahant Divya Giri expressed her appreciation for the initiatives being undertaken by the Adani Group to support the vast number of devotees participating in the event.
Mahant Divya Giri, who is not only a spiritual figure but also has a background in medicine from Delhi University, highlighted the impactful service work being carried out by the Adani Group at the Maha Kumbh.
The group has been providing essential services to thousands of devotees, including distributing Mahaprasad through ISKCON to lakhs of attendees daily. In addition, the Adani Group is offering 1 crore free Aarti collections in collaboration with Geeta Press, further supporting the spiritual experience of the devotees.
In addition to the spiritual offerings, the Adani Group has been working to enhance the physical accessibility of the Maha Kumbh for women, the elderly, and other vulnerable groups. The group has deployed over 4 dozen golf carts, which are helping devotees reach the Sangam for the sacred bath with ease.
This free service is making it possible for thousands of people, especially those who are elderly or unable to walk long distances, to participate in the ritual without difficulty.
Mahant Divya Giri also took the opportunity to praise the various programs being implemented in different states, including Uttar Pradesh, aimed at empowering women. As a strong advocate for women’s rights and cultural preservation, she continues to play a pivotal role in uplifting women within her community and beyond.
