Maha Kumbh 2025: Yogi Government’s Strategic Coordination Ensures Timely Preparations

For Maha Kumbh 2025, preparations are in full swing as authorities work to ensure all necessary arrangements are completed on time. On Sunday, a crucial review meeting took place at the ICCC auditorium in the Mela Authority office.

The meeting, chaired by the Principal Secretary of Urban Development, Principal Secretary of PWD, and the ADG of Prayagraj, focused on coordinating the efforts of various departments for the seamless execution of the event.

The meeting, held ahead of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visit on Monday, emphasized the importance of inter-departmental coordination. Officials directed staff and departments to collaborate and ensure that all facilities for the pilgrims are in place ahead of schedule.

Maha Kumbh 2025: Expedited Work On Signage Installation

Principal Secretary of PWD, Ajay Chauhan, shared updates on the progress of key infrastructural tasks. He confirmed that they are expediting work on the pontoon bridges with night shifts to complete the task on a war footing.

Chauhan assured that all pontoon bridges will be operational within the next couple of days.

Water Sprinkling And Beautification Efforts Intensified

Principal Secretary of Urban Development, Amrit Abhijat, underlined the importance of making Maha Kumbh 2025 a success not just for Prayagraj, but for the entire state. He also highlighted the need for frequent water sprinkling on roads to ensure cleanliness and comfort for the devotees and saints.

Abhijat also stressed the need to speed up the beautification work in both the city and the Mela area. He instructed the Municipal Corporation and PWD teams to collaborate efficiently and complete all pending tasks.

Furthermore, ADG Bhanu Bhaskar provided an update on traffic arrangements for Maha Kumbh 2025. He detailed special parking provisions for the event. They have finalized specific routes for holding areas and shuttle buses and put emergency plans in place.

Moreover, Mela Officer Vijay Kiran Anand shared that they have devised crowd management strategies for the Prayag and Subedar Ganj stations. With just weeks left until Maha Kumbh 2025, officials are prioritizing the completion of all critical tasks through efficient coordination.
