For Maha Kumbh-2025, the Prayagraj Mela Authority has made extensive preparations to provide a clean and convenient environment for devotees, tourists, and bathers from across India and abroad. The Authority will deploy modern sanitation equipment to improve cleanliness at the fairgrounds.
This initiative aims to ensure that the Maha Kumbh area remains both clean and green, offering a pleasant experience to all visitors. The fair authority has allocated a budget of 45 to 50 lakh rupees to purchase this equipment, which includes 10 manual walk-behind sweeping machines and 2 battery-operated vacuum litter pickers.
To enhance cleanliness at the fair, the authorities will use compact manual walk-behind sweeping machines to clean paved ghats, footpaths, roads, and public spaces within the fair area. These eco-friendly machines operate without fuel or electricity, minimizing their environmental impact.
The ergonomic design ensures that workers can use them comfortably, and their efficiency guarantees thorough cleaning without generating dust. The manual operation makes the machines easy to maintain, while also allowing sanitation workers to perform their tasks more effectively.
The Prayagraj Mela Authority is investing significant resources into ensuring cleanliness during the Maha Kumbh. The purchase of modern sanitation equipment, expected to cost 45-50 lakh rupees, will be covered by the Authority.
The board has already approved the acquisition. Special Executive Officer of the Mela, Akanksha Rana, stated that cleanliness will be a top priority, in line with the wishes of the Chief Minister.
Modern equipment will help Maha Kumbh 2025 provide a cleaner and greener environment for all visitors. The use of eco-friendly technology not only ensures efficient cleaning but also contributes to the overall sustainability of the event.
