Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi inaugurated a spectacular water laser show at the Yamuna Bank Ghat in Prayagraj, showcasing key events of Maha Kumbh 2025.
The 45-minute show, created at a cost of nearly Rs 20 crore, promises to be a visual treat for tourists and devotees during the ongoing Maha Kumbh celebrations.
A team of 100 people developed the water laser show in just 60 days. A private company, which previously organized similar shows in Ayodhya and Jhansi, managed the project.
The show is set to run daily, blending technology and spirituality to highlight the grandeur of the Maha Kumbh.
During the inauguration, Minister Nandi praised the show as a historical and visually stunning experience. He emphasized that it would be a key attraction for tourists visiting the Maha Kumbh.
Minister Nandi shared on X that the show will run daily, displaying the Kumbh Katha on the water screen. He also noted that Uttar Pradesh Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh inaugurated the Rs 22 crore show.
In the caption he wrote, “Under the able leadership of the Honorable Tourism Minister Shri Jaiveer Singh Ji, the Water Laser Show of the Tourism Department, built at a cost of Rs 22 crores at Kali Ghat on Yamuna Bank Road.”
Minister Nandi highlighted that the water laser show would offer an “attractive and visually stunning” experience, spectacularly blending water and light. He stated that it would complement the spiritual essence of the Maha Kumbh, adding a modern technological dimension to the event.
The show will enhance the festival’s cultural and religious significance, offering a unique blend of spirituality and innovation.
