On the auspicious occasion of Maha Kumbh 2025, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandi Ben Patel visited the Parmarth Niketan camp in Prayagraj on Thursday.
During her visit, she highlighted the importance of raising public awareness about the harmful effects of the dowry system.
The Governor also attended the Shri Ramcharit Manas Katha, delivered by Rashtrasant Pujya Morari Bapu.
While at the camp, Governor Patel paid tribute to the valor and meditation of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary. She emphasized that great individuals are remembered through their deeds and thoughts.

The Governor also focused on the importance of vaccination for preventing cervical cancer in girls and appealed for a greater emphasis on the health and education of daughters, urging society to prioritize their well-being.
Further, she called for increased efforts to raise awareness about the dowry system and its damaging effects on society.
Morari Bapu used the occasion to discuss the significance of faith and devotion through the teachings of Shri Ramcharit Manas. He explained how the story embodies profound lessons on religion and charity.
Malukpeethadhiswar Shri Rajendra Das Ji Maharaj spoke about Shri Ramcharit Manas as a living depiction of Lord Ram’s character and praised Pujya Bapu’s teachings as a confluence of truth, love, and compassion.
Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji, while honoring the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, emphasized that satsang and katha provide liberation from the slavery of the mind.
