Maha Kumbh 2025: Digital Media Centre Brings Real-time Updates To World

The ongoing Maha Kumbh has become a global attraction, with international media extensively covering the event. In a bid to showcase the grandeur and cultural significance of the Maha Kumbh to the world, a high-tech Digital Media Centre has been set up in the Mela area under the leadership of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the centre is efficiently handling the increased demand for Maha Kumbh-related news across the globe.

Global Demand For Maha Kumbh News

The Maha Kumbh is drawing significant attention from countries worldwide, including the USA, Russia, Germany, Japan, and Israel. To meet the high demand for updates, 30 international journalists have been stationed at the Media Centre, providing special coverage of the event. These journalists are captivated by the spiritual and cultural aspects of the Mahakumbh, and their coverage is helping bring this monumental gathering into living rooms across the globe.

High-Tech Facilities Enhance Coverage

The Digital Media Centre boasts world-class facilities, featuring high-resolution cameras worth several crores of rupees. These cameras, with lenses valued up to ₹50 lakh, provide breathtaking live streams and updates to global audiences. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, the head of the live telecast team, highlighted that more than 65 desktops have been installed at the centre, ensuring continuous reporting by journalists from all over the world. Additionally, the Media Centre features an advanced PCR room equipped with both large and small screens that deliver live feeds of Maha Kumbh activities in real time.

Additionally, a dedicated podcast room in the Media Centre hosts daily discussions and insights on various aspects of the Maha Kumbh. These podcasts delve into the event’s cultural, religious, and logistical significance, offering listeners a deeper understanding of the gathering.

Comprehensive Amenities For Journalists

To ensure the comfort of domestic and international journalists covering the event, the Media Centre offers a variety of amenities. These include comfortable accommodations, double beds in the VIP lounge, a spacious cafeteria serving tea, breakfast, and meals, and a well-equipped conference room.

The centre can accommodate up to 400 journalists during press briefings, creating an ideal environment for reporters to stay updated on the latest developments.

Enhanced Social Media Engagement At Maha Kumbh

The use of major social media platforms such as YouTube, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and X is another key feature of the Media Centre’s outreach. These platforms are being utilized to provide continuous updates and live coverage of the Maha Kumbh, ensuring that devotees and viewers worldwide can follow the event in real-time.

Maha Kumbh Innovative Selfie Point For Media Interaction

The Media Centre has also introduced an innovative selfie point with state-of-the-art technology.
