Bharat Express News Network organized a mega conclave named ‘Kashi Ka Kayakalp’ in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak attended as the chief guest. Bharat Express Chairman, CMD, and Editor-in-Chief Upendra Rai welcomed the Deputy CM. Rai emphasized the significance of Sanatan Dharma, Kashi’s cultural heritage, and the history of Banaras.
Chairman Upendra Rai highlighted, “The written history of Banaras is 3,000 years old. However, Mahabharata reveals that Kashi is 5,500 years old.” He noted that Sanatan Dharma has evidence dating back 11,000 years, claiming no other faith is as ancient. He stated, “All other religions get stuck at the stairs of hell and heaven, but Sanatan Dharma speaks of salvation.”
Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak expressed confidence that BJP would win all nine seats in the upcoming by-elections. He credited unprecedented victories under PM Modi’s leadership since 2014 and highlighted the historic development in UP since 2017. “People know BJP is a party of all society. We take everyone along,” he asserted.
Pathak criticized the Indi alliance for misleading the public ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He stated, “The Indi alliance has been exposed for lying to gain votes.” He praised PM Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath for improving law and order and for bringing progress to UP.
Pathak pointed out that UP, once known for poor roads and electricity shortages, now boasts significant improvements. “Today, electricity is available everywhere in UP. We have the most expressways in India,” he noted, mentioning the construction of 2.9 lakh kilometers of roads under BJP rule.
The Deputy CM announced that the government has enhanced education quality in schools through the Kayakalp scheme. He reported that 1.92 crore children are receiving quality education. Additionally, he stated that Uttar Pradesh now has 65 medical colleges, ensuring better healthcare access.
Pathak highlighted the success of the ‘one district, one product’ initiative, stating that it showcases UP products internationally. He claimed that major companies now seek to establish industries in Kashi, which would create local employment.
Responding to recent violence in Bahraich, Pathak expressed sadness, asserting that such incidents can happen anywhere. He emphasized the government’s commitment to follow court orders regarding crime and bulldozer actions.
Pathak criticized the opposition for lacking relevant issues and misleading the public. He called out Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for frequent foreign trips while accusing opposition leaders of not engaging with the public.
CMD Upendra Rai proposed that major companies establish industries in Kashi to boost local development. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak agreed to pursue this, emphasizing that it would benefit local youth and provide employment opportunities.
