The seven-phase Lok Sabha elections concluded on Saturday, and the nation is now eagerly awaiting the results to see who will form the next government at the Centre. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is aiming for a third consecutive term. Opposing them is the INDIA bloc, which includes the Congress and several other non-BJP parties.
Polling for the 2024 general elections, covering 543 parliamentary constituencies, began on April 19, with subsequent phases on April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, May 25, and the final phase on June 1.
Votes for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 will be counted on Tuesday, June 4. On the same day, votes for the simultaneous assembly elections in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, as well as by-elections for a few assembly seats in other states, will also be counted. The votes for the state elections in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh were counted on Sunday, June 2.

The Election Commission has announced that the counting of votes for the general election and the state polls will start at 8 am on Tuesday and will continue until all votes are counted.
