CM Yogi announces Magh Mela 2024 to be organised in 800 hectares of land
Lucknow : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has praised the Union Budget 2024-25 as inclusive, development-oriented, and capable of fulfilling the hopes and aspirations of 140 crore Indians. He described it as an economic document that aims to build a ‘Developed India-Self-reliant India.’
The budget embodies the spirit of Antyodaya, limitless potential for development, and a new vision of innovation. It includes a commitment to the overall development of all sections of society, including villages, the poor, farmers, women, and youth. It envisions becoming self-reliant in every field and outlines a roadmap to free the deprived from deprivation.
The budget offers significant relief to the middle class with new provisions regarding the tax system. The Chief Minister expressed heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for this public-welfare budget, which paves the way for making ‘New India’ a 5 trillion dollar economy and the world’s growth engine.
He noted that the budget allocates ₹1,52,000 crore for the prosperity of farmers and more than ₹3 lakh crore for women’s empowerment. He added, “Under the guidance of PM Modi, in the new parliament of the country, the Finance Minister has laid down a budget that is inclusive, development-oriented, and capable of fulfilling the aspirations of 140 crore people.”
