Leadership Rooted In Service, Says PM Modi As He Wishes Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi On Birthday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended birthday greetings to Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, praising his leadership and contributions to the state’s development and youth empowerment.

In a message shared on a social media platform, the Prime Minister described Majhi as a hardworking leader who has played a key role in strengthening Odisha’s growth trajectory. He also prayed for the Chief Minister’s long and healthy life in continued service to the people.

Taking to X, PM Modi posted, “Birthday wishes to Odisha’s hardworking Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi Ji. He has made outstanding efforts to enhance Odisha’s growth trajectory and empower the youth of the state. Praying for his long and healthy life in service of the people.”

Mohan Charan Majhi, who hails from Keonjhar district and belongs to the Santal tribal community, has risen through the ranks of politics with a strong grassroots background.

Beginning his public life as a sarpanch in 1997, his early experience has significantly shaped his governance approach.

He won his fourth consecutive term from the Keonjhar Assembly constituency in the 2024 elections and later assumed office as the Chief Minister of Odisha.
