In his post, Maurya emphasize the importance of ensuring that the benefits of reservation reach the underprivilege, stating, “It is necessary for the benefits of reservation to reach those who have been left behind even after 75 years. All parties must take responsibility for uplifting these sections of society.” He firmly declared that any opposition to this decision is “unacceptable.”

The move aligns with the Supreme Court’s ruling on August 1, 2024, which supports efforts to enhance the effectiveness of reservation policies. Maurya’s endorsement highlights the ongoing commitment of the Uttar Pradesh government to promote social welfare and equality across various segments of society.
