Keshav Prasad Maurya Accuses Opposition Of Muslim Appeasement, Set To Launch Plantation Campaign In Kaushambi

Prayagraj: State Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya fiercely targeted SP chief Akhilesh Yadav in Prayagraj on Saturday. Keshav Prasad said that the opposition is purely doing politics of Muslim appeasement. “They have no vision and mission. Their only objective is to affect the sanctity of Kanwar Yatra,” he claimed. Deputy CM had reached the program organized at Azad Park to launch the plantation campaign. He was answering media queries after launching the plantation campaign.

He said that 36 crore 50 lakh saplings will be planted in the entire state. 85 lakh saplings will be planted in Prayagraj. Everyone should participate in this. Along with Prayagraj, he will also launch a plantation campaign in Kaushambi. When asked questions about Akhilesh Yadav’s statement, he said that the opposition should first take Kanwar and offer water to Lord Shiva. This will eliminate the deformity.

The holy month of Saavan is starting from Monday. Crores of devotees go on Kanwar Yatra to offer water to various temples and Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Those who are raising questions on this are doing politics of Muslim appeasement. False statements are being made to affect the sanctity of Kanwar Yatra. In response to a question, the Deputy CM said that the BJP is going to win all the seats of UP including Phulpur in the by-elections.
