Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan announced on Friday that the Kerala government would support flood-affected Tamil Nadu by sending kits containing necessities to the impacted households there.
The CM also provided a list of the articles that should be included in each kit, along with suggested quantities, in a Facebook post. According to Vijayan, the package will contain, among other things, rice, salt, sugar, wheat, sunflower oil, bucket, soap, toothpaste, comb, and towel.”It is intended to ensure assistance to the distressed families in the neighboring state by providing them kits comprising essential commodities,” he said.

Noting that the supplies are being gathered at this location’s Disaster Management Authority office, Vijayan also encouraged everyone to join the campaign to assist their fellow humans. Heavy rains earlier this week caused flooding in the Tuticorin, Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, and Kanyakumari, districts in southern Tamil Nadu, which resulted in property damage and fatalities. Kerala borders Tenkasi, Kanyakumari, and Tirunelveli.
