Kawan Kasoor Set For Grand Premiere In Ghazipur; CMD Upendrra Rai To Attend

The Bhojpuri film Kawan Kasoor will hold its grand premiere at the Grand Palace Hotel in Ghazipur, marking a significant occasion for the regional film industry.

Bharat Express News Network, Banaras Talkies and Jayant Media have jointly presented the film.

The cast, production team and several leading personalities from the film industry have reached Ghazipur to attend the event.

Bharat Express Chairman, Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief Upendrra Rai also arrived for the premiere. Representatives, intellectuals, media professionals and film enthusiasts welcomed him at Varanasi airport.

Kawan Kasoor seeks to challenge criticism surrounding inappropriate content and weak storytelling in some Bhojpuri films.

The makers have described it as a clean, meaningful and family-friendly production that could help restore audiences’ confidence in Bhojpuri cinema.

Bharat Express Group Managing Editor Radheshyam Rai and Shivraj Singh have jointly written and directed the film. Rudra Tiwari, Rajat Tiwari and Vandana Rai have produced it.

The film features Raj Singh, Gunjan Pant, Sonalika, Sushil Singh and Lalitesh Jha in prominent roles.

The makers expect their performances and the film’s socially relevant narrative to appeal to a wide audience.

The team chose Ghazipur for the premiere because many regard the city as the birthplace of Bhojpuri cinema.
