Justice Dr. Gautam Chowdhary creates history by delivering over 14k rulings in Hindi

You’ve probably witnessed affection for one’s own language, but you’ve probably never seen such adoration. English, Urdu, and Persian are the most often utilized languages in the Indian legal system. All High Court rulings and judgments are in English. In such a circumstance, Justice Dr. Gautam Chowdhary has made history by delivering over 14,232 rulings in Hindi at the Allahabad High Court, while also raising the significance of the mother tongue Hindi.

However, Justice Chaudhary’s career was not without difficulties. Let us explain why, Justice Chowdhary’s familial history was such that he had a strong desire to serve the country, the underprivileged, and individuals living in rural regions.

This sentiment stemmed from his ancestral environment hence it is important to discuss it briefly. Justice Dr Chowdhary   has always looked up to his father as a role model. During his lifetime, he accomplished several vital things that rescued numerous particular groups and castes.

According to Justice Dr. Chowdhary, his father used to sit with all of us brothers and sisters and tell us about his job and social contribution, which made everyone happy and proud. At the same time, experiences in his life have served as lessons. He has also aided Justice in achieving success in a variety of fields. Lal ji was born on December 25, 1930, with a bright future ahead of him. He made his first appearance in Father Late Chowdhary Shyam Lal’s and Late Lalita Devi residence in Allahabad. His father and mother, on whom this statement is based, had instilled in him the fact of his intelligence since boyhood. This saying completely summarizes the life of Justice Dr. Gautam Chowdhary , a precocious infant reveals the man within him; precocity or intellect emerges quickly.

Justice Dr Chowdhary’s  father’s life had been a struggle from his infancy, but he never lost spirit, he was regarded as a favorite and promising pupil by his professors, and he always came in first in every examination, so much so that he became one of India’s most proud students to qualify for the IPS.

Honorable Justice learned from his ancestors that complete justice should be done to the entire society and the deprived society, and that no one should be allowed to feel helpless imbued with this feeling. Perhaps he had selected a different goal for himself and continued to work toward it.

Because he did not think himself acceptable in today’s politics, he left politics and battled to become a judge through advocacy; eventually, he was successful and was appointed as a judge of the Allahabad High Court on December 12, 2019.

Justice  Dr. Gautam Chowdhary  had concluded in his mind on the day of taking oath that because the majority of litigants in our state and society comprehend only Hindi, and when they receive a judgment letter in their favor or against them, they would have to seek some means to grasp it.

One must seek the assistance of an English-speaking individual; he cannot know the full specifics of the ruling; it was in light of this issue that Justice Dr. Gautam Chowdhary  issued his first decision on 20 December 2019, while sitting in the court’s single judge bench.

He pronounced it in Hindi, and his method of providing judgments in Hindi has continued ever since, resulting in the Justice having rendered more than 14,232  decisions in different bail applications, review petitions, and other matters to date, whose number is anticipated to skyrocket in the future by leaps and bounds.
