Preparations for the Mahakumbh are in full swing, with the akhara planning to enter the camp with deities before the main event. On Vijayadashami, October 12, 2024, Naga monks and Mahamandaleshwars from across the country will begin their journey towards Prayagraj.

The Juna Akhara has scheduled further events including the worship of the akhara’s religious flag on November 23, 2024, and a subsequent procession on December 14, 2024, led by Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Avdheshanand Giri. The land for the Kumbh Mela area will consecrate on November 23 during Kaal Bhairav Ashtami.

However, these announcements mark the beginning of an extensive period of religious and cultural preparations for one of the most significant events in Hinduism, with the Juna Akhara playing a central role in shaping the Mahakumbh 2025 festivities.
