Joint Operation Leads To Arrest Of Hashim Baba Gang Members

In a police operation, a joint team of Special Cell/NDR and STF/Meerut apprehended two notorious sharpshooters of the Hashim Baba gang, Anas and Asad, following a shootout in Khatauli, Muzaffarnagar, UP. The accused sustained bullet injuries during the exchange of fire.

Acting on a tip that Anas, a desperate sharp-shooter, was roaming around Ghaziabad and Delhi with associate Asad, the team tracked them down on Delhi-Haridwar Highway. At 4 AM, the suspects were intercepted near Bhainsi village, leading to a exchange of fire. Eight rounds were fired, with four from the accused and four from the police.

Recovery and Charges on Hashim Baba Gang Members

Three pistols with nine live cartridges were recovered from the accused. Anas was wanted in four Delhi cases, including two murders and two attempted murders. The seized Kia Seltos car was found stolen, as per e-FIR No. 027183.

The two apprehended accused are the residents of Delhi. 18 years old Anas Khan hails from Chauhan Bangar while Asad Ameen, 21-years, lived in Brahmpuri.

further more, Anas was wanted in multiple cases, including FIR No. 372/24 and FIR No. 338/24. Asad had previous involvements in FIR No. 116/23 and FIR No. 21654/24.
