Jitan Ram Manjhi Visits Prayagraj Magh Mela; Appreciates Youth Service Initiatives

Prayagraj witnessed a significant event when Union Minister for MSME, Jitan Ram Manjhi, toured the Magh Mela site. He observed the service initiatives led by Youth Chetna chief Rohit Kumar Singh.

The minister arrived amid a grand welcome with floral garlands and traditional band music, drawing thousands of attendees.

During the occasion, Minister Manjhi participated in the Nirvana Mahotsav commemorating the great spiritual leader, Dharmasrata Swami Karpatri Ji Maharaj.

The event also saw the presence of senior spiritual figure Swami Abhishek Brahmachari, from whom the minister sought blessings.

Swami Brahmachari remarked that Swami Karpatri Ji embodied the radiant spirit of Sanatan Dharma.

Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi described Swami Karpatri Ji as a true embodiment of religious devotion.

He highlighted that his own efforts focus on comprehensive development for the underprivileged.

Emphasising the principle of service, Manjhi stated, “Serving humanity is equivalent to serving the divine.”

The minister also acknowledged and lauded the social service initiatives conducted by Rohit Kumar Singh.

Singh, the national coordinator of Youth Chetna, articulated that connecting society’s most marginalised individuals to the mainstream remains the organisation’s core mission.

He stressed, “There is no higher religion than serving others,” underlining the commitment to selfless work.

The event attracted a massive crowd, reflecting the public’s reverence for both spiritual heritage and social service.

The ceremonial reception of Minister Manjhi included elaborate floral decorations and musical accompaniment, symbolising the convergence of tradition and contemporary social engagement.
