JD-U Releases Tejashwi Yadav’s Videos Praising Nitish Kumar

The JD-U released two videos on Saturday showing Bihar Leader of the Opposition (LoP) Tejashwi Prasad Yadav praising Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. This move came in response to the RJD’s recent actions.

On Friday, RJD state president Jagadanand Singh had released a video featuring Nitish Kumar appealing to former Chief Minister Rabri Devi. In reaction, JD-U national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan and Bihar Legislative Council member Neeraj Kumar made the counter-move by releasing the videos of Tejashwi Yadav.

In the JD-U’s videos, Tejashwi Yadav praises Nitish Kumar, emphasizing his reputation as a “leader who works, not just talks.” JD-U Spokesperson Neeraj Kumar highlighted that these videos counter the RJD’s recent criticisms of JD(U) leadership. He suggested that the ongoing political exchanges between the two parties are now being met with reciprocal responses.

Kumar pointed out that JD-U’s videos include both audio and video, unlike the RJD’s video, which lacked audio. He stressed, “If you post on X, we will respond on X; if you release a video, we will also release one.”

Rajiv Ranjan criticized RJD leaders for not backing their claims with evidence. He reminded that Nitish Kumar has consistently received public support over the last 19 years. Ranjan claimed that in 2010, RJD was on the brink of collapse and only revived with JD-U’s support.

He added that while JD-U allied with RJD twice, their governance styles were incompatible. JD-U’s long-standing partnership with the NDA has been smooth, Ranjan said. He also criticized RJD’s 15-year rule for poor governance, contrasting it with the current state of Bihar under Nitish Kumar’s leadership.
