Jammu And Kashmir Police Release Sketches Of Terrorists Behind Pahalgam Attack; PM Modi Vows Justice

Jammu and Kashmir Police have identified and released sketches of three terrorists believed to be involved in the deadly Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April, which claimed the lives of 26 people.

All three individuals are linked to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror group.

The first suspect, identified as Adil Hussain Thoker, is a local resident from Anantnag.

The second operative is Ali Bhai, also known as Talha Bhai, while the third is Hasim Musa, also referred to as Suleiman.

According to police sources, Thoker is a Kashmiri local, while they suspect Musa and Talha are Pakistani nationals.

Authorities have announced a reward of Rs 20 lakh for any information that leads to the capture of these terrorists.

Officials have, however, urged the public to report any details to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Anantnag at 9596777666 or to the Police Control Room (PCR) at 9596777669.

PM Modi Vows Relentless Pursuit Of Terrorists; Declares ‘Terrorism Will Not Break India’s Spirit’

In response to the attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a strong statement at the National Panchayati Raj Day event in Bihar’s Madhubani, vowing that India would pursue the terrorists responsible for the attack to the ‘ends of the Earth’.

The Prime Minister further condemned the brutality of the attack, which killed innocent civilians in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, and expressed the nation’s solidarity with the victims’ families.

“On April 22, terrorists killed innocent people of the country in J-K’s Pahalgam. The country is in mourning and pain following this incident. We stand with the families of the victims. Today, from the soil of Bihar, I tell you, India will identify, track and punish every terrorist, their handlers and their backers. We will pursue them to the end of the earth. Terrorism will never break India’s spirit. Terrorism will not go unpunished. The entire nation is firm in this resolve. Everyone who believes in humanity is on our side. I thank the people of various countries and their leaders, who have stood with us in these times,” PM Modi declared.

The Prime Minister further added, “I want to say in unambiguous words that these terrorists and those who conspired towards this attack will get a punishment bigger than they can imagine. The willpower of 140 crore Indians will now break the back of the masters of terror.”

Before delivering his address, PM Modi observed a moment of silence to honour the lives lost in the attack, reflecting the nation’s collective grief and resolve.
