Jammu And Kashmir: Near Line Of Control, 2 Terrorists Killed

Two terrorists were killed as security forces in Jammu and Kashmir foiled an infiltration attempt near the line of control.

The incident took place in the Machil sector in the Kupwara district.

Kashmir Zone Police tweeted, “Two (02) #terrorists have been #neutralised in a joint operation of Army and Kupwara Police in Dobanar Machhal area (LoC) of #Kupwara district. Search still continues”, through its official Twitter handle.

According to officials, the Army and the police launched a coordinated operation in which two terrorists were killed.

A search is now underway.

Last month, the Army announced that it had foiled another infiltration attempt by terrorists sponsored by Pakistan to disrupt G20 Summit.

In the exchange of fire in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir, an Army officer was also injured.
