A grand Tapabhinandan ceremony took place in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, where Jain Acharya Lokesh Muni delivered a heart-touching speech that inspired the audience.
The event took place in the holy presence of Pujya Acharya Vishwaratnasagar Suriji. Devotees honoured ascetics walking on the path of non-violence, truth, and restraint.
In his address, Acharya Lokesh Muni said that penance is not just the purification of the body but also of the soul. He urged the gathering to listen to their inner voice, describing penance as a bridge leading to salvation.
Using modern life as an example, he stressed that real peace comes only through non-violence.
Speaking to the youth, he advised them to move away from the glare of social media and embrace the light of penance. His words deeply moved the audience and prompted reflection on life’s mortality and spiritual awakening.
The ceremony featured bhajans, kirtans, and rituals to honour ascetics. Pujya Vishwaratnasagar, in his blessings, said that such events give moral strength to society.
Hundreds of devotees from major Jain temples of Indore joined the programme, making it a spiritually enriching gathering.
The ceremony concluded with inspiring shlokas recited by Acharya Lokesh Muni. The atmosphere of devotion and reflection left an indelible mark on the minds of all present.
