‘It Felt Like A Dream’: What Participants Said After PM Modi Joined ‘Bhajan Clubbing’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s participation became one of the key highlights of a ‘Bhajan Clubbing’ event in Delhi on Friday, with attendees describing his presence as an unexpected and memorable moment.

Held at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Park to mark the 110th birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, the programme brought together young people and other participants for an evening of devotional music and social interaction.

Several attendees said the event offered a refreshing alternative to conventional concerts.

One participant told IANS that regular concerts can sometimes leave people uncomfortable because of loud music, while the bhajan evening ended on a pleasant note and left him feeling refreshed.

Another attendee said they enjoyed watching the artists perform on screen and listening to bhajans dedicated to Mahadev, Parvati and other deities.

A first-time visitor described the evening as magnificent and called it the ‘best experience so far’.

Participants appreciated the opportunity to meet and spend time with others while enjoying the music.

The artists performed for nearly two hours, with attendees particularly praising Raghav and Prachi.

PM Modi’s presence added to the excitement. Several people said they had not expected the Prime Minister to attend and were surprised when they saw him at the venue.

One participant said watching PM Modi sit among young people and listen to bhajans felt like a dream.

Another attendee said the devotional atmosphere, combined with the Prime Minister’s presence, felt like a blessing from Lord Ram.

Participants thanked Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta for introducing the ‘Bhajan Clubbing’ concept, saying it provided a way to connect young people with Indian culture and devotional music.
