Is Congress Set To Lead Kerala? Exit Polls Hint At Edge Over Left Alliance

Various agencies have released their exit poll projections for the Kerala Assembly elections, offering an early glimpse into possible outcomes.

Most surveys indicate that the Congress-led alliance is likely to emerge ahead, while the Left alliance appears to be trailing, albeit still within a competitive range.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), meanwhile, does not seem to have gained significant ground.

According to the MATRIZE survey, the Congress Plus alliance is projected to secure between 70 and 75 seats in the Assembly.

The Left Plus alliance is expected to win around 60 to 65 seats. The survey suggests that the BJP and other parties may not win any seats.

The Chanakya exit poll presents a similar trend, placing the Congress alliance firmly in the lead with an estimated 72 to 80 seats.

The Left Plus alliance is projected to win between 58 and 64 seats. Like MATRIZE, this survey also indicates no seats for the BJP.

Axis My India offers a slightly different perspective while still favouring the Congress alliance. It estimates that Congress Plus could win between 73 and 80 seats.

The Left Plus alliance is projected to secure between 49 and 62 seats. Unlike other surveys, this poll suggests the BJP may win up to three seats.

Taken together, these exit polls point towards a potential advantage for the Congress alliance. The Left, however, remains firmly in the contest and cannot be ruled out.

The BJP’s position appears comparatively weak across most projections.

As with all exit polls, these figures are indicative rather than definitive, and the actual outcome will only be confirmed once the official results are declared.
