Humanity seems not to be left in the people these days when such cases come up. A video has come up from Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa district, in which, a man is being thrashed while his hands are tied at the back. The man beaten brutally was semi-naked. He faced continuous punches right in the face. Then the worst happened, when he was asked to pick up shoe with his mouth.
The in charge of Hanumana Police Station – Chetan Marskole told media that this case is a two year old case. It has come up now because the video was received just recently. 50-year-old Jawahir Singh, a clerk at a government school and the spouse of Piprahi village’s sarpanch in the Rewa district, is the accused.
Police are searching for two of Singh’s accused accomplices after he was apprehended. The victim’s identification has not yet been made public by the police. He works as a pickup driver, and according to his statement, Singh owed him money. The offender had long before encroached on the plot that the victim bought. The victim revealed to some locals that he had purchased the property. When Singh learned of this, he called him home under the guise of paying him what was owed, but instead, he shut the door and beat him while his accomplices recorded the incident, according to Marskole.
The guy can be seen in the video with his hands bound behind his back and his trousers pulled down. He receives a barrage of vicious punches on the face, gets struck with a stick, and is made to lift a shoe with his mouth.
According to Marskole, the victim was too ashamed and afraid to report the incident. “A few people nearby were sharing the video. The victim discovered it would go viral after obtaining it on Saturday. He came to us with his complaint since he felt so humiliated. We filed a complaint and detained the principal suspect, he claimed. The IPC and IT Act have been used to lodge the three defendants.
