IndiGo Website Down Again: Passengers Face Booking, Check-In Problems

IndiGo’s website faced another technical disruption on Friday. Several passengers struggled to book flights, complete web check-ins and use other digital services. Some users reported login problems on the airline’s mobile application.

The airline acknowledged the disruption through a service advisory. It said its core reservation platform was facing intermittent technical issues.

IndiGo warned that the problem could restrict access to some online services.

“We are currently experiencing intermittent issues with our core reservation platform, which may make it difficult for some customers to access our online services,” the airline said.

IndiGo added that its teams were working on priority with its technology partner to restore services swiftly.

During the outage, the website showed a ‘no data available’ message when passengers tried to access flight-booking services.

Several customers complained through IndiGo’s official X account. They reported unsuccessful bookings, web check-in failures and delays or failures in receiving payment confirmations.

The airline has not revealed the precise cause of the latest outage. It has not named the technology partner assisting with the reservation platform.

The incident occurred only two days after IndiGo reported a similar technical problem.

On Wednesday, the airline cited ‘intermittent issues’ affecting access to its online services.

The repeated disruption has unsettled passengers who depend on IndiGo’s digital platforms for bookings, check-ins and payments.

IndiGo remains India’s largest airline by domestic market share. It held around 67 per cent of the country’s domestic aviation market in July.

Given its dominant position, technical failures can affect a substantial number of travellers.

The latest advisory did not specify when IndiGo expects to fully restore its online services.
