Immigration Racket Busted: The gang nabbed by Delhi Police

Immigration Racket Busted: Three agents of an International immigration racket involved in duping people of their hard-earned money on the pretext of sending them to foreign shores, arrested.

The Gang arrested is involved in making forged passports, fake Visas, along with other travel documents in connivance with their accomplice based in Delhi & Punjab. The police recovered one Indian Passport along with two forged visas from different countries from their hideouts.

Lawsuit was filed on November 10, 2012, in response to a complaint from immigration authorities. On the intervening night of 09-10/11/2022, Ritender Singh S/o Rai Singh R/o VPO Tangoli, Distt Kurukshetra, HR, allegedly went to departure immigration to get approval to travel for Phuket, Thailand.

Upon examination of his passport, it was discovered that the original pages of his passport, bearing the serial number U9369848, had been swapped out for pages from another person’s passport in order to conceal the offloaded/deported stamps, and that a fake immigration stamp had also been added to the said passport. The above mentioned case was opened and an investigation was conducted on the basis of the complaint’s accusation.

Interrogation and Arrest:

Passenger Ritender Singh was detained for questioning while under inquiry, and he revealed that he had three off-loading stamps on his passport that had been applied by separate airport immigration offices. He was having trouble leaving for other nations.

So he went to one of his buddies, Pankaj, who then referred him to a representative named Baljinder@Teja.

Baljinder informed him that he would make additional arrangements for the VISA of the United Kingdom and would have the pages on which the offloaded stamps are attached either deleted or replaced with pages from another passport.

Under the direction of SHO/IGIA Inspr. Yashpal Singh and overall supervision of ACP/IGI Sh. Virender Mor, a dedicated team consisting of SI Sudhir Joon, HC Vinit , HC Birju Singh , and Ct. Nitin was formed in order to arrest the agents involved in the case and track down the source of the passport manipulation.

Sincere and thorough searches for the agents involved were made, and repeated raids at potential hiding places were carried out. Finally, the team’s tireless efforts paid off, and on December 19,2022, the accused agent Baljinder AKA Teja was taken into custody in Prem Nagar, Janakpuri, Delhi. On December 22, 2202, Baljinder AKA Teja requested the arrest of Ravi AKA Harcharan Shah from Dabri New Delhi, and during a conducted interrogation.

Jaswinder Singh Burmi was later detained in Sagarpur, New Delhi, during the Ravi AKA Harcharan raid, and he confessed to having had his passport pages erased with the cooperation of his buddy Lucky. The absconding agent Lucky is currently being sought for with all available resources.
