‘Hum Karke Dikhate Hain’: Gautam Adani Unveils Vision For Future Growth

Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, shared his vision for the company on Thursday. He stressed that the company’s commitments go beyond infrastructure development and that its promises are rooted in creating hope, progress, and a brighter future for millions of Indians.

Adani’s remarks followed the release of a groundbreaking advertisement that showcased the company’s focus on wind turbines and renewable energy.

The ad quickly gained attention on the internet for its innovative approach.

Taking to X, Gautam Adani posted, “In our actions sit the promises we make. Promises that are not just about infrastructure but of hope, progress and a brighter tomorrow. The winds of change are here. Hum Karke Dikhate Hain!”

The 1.30-minute video, titled ‘Pehle Pankha Aayega, Phir Bijli Aayegi,’ portrays how renewable energy can improve lives while preserving the environment.

The ad follows the journey of a young boy named Tamtu, who, along with his father, spends nights in darkness, waiting for electricity to arrive.

Adani Group’s Renewable Energy Milestones: Building The World’s Largest Power Source

The Adani Group has been a leader in renewable energy, with significant milestones in sustainable energy production.

In 2016, the company completed the Kamuthi solar plant in Tamil Nadu, which was the world’s largest single-site solar project at the time.

Currently, the Group is constructing another massive renewable energy project in Khavda, Gujarat, likely to be more than five times the size of Paris and will generate 30 GW of clean energy.

Once completed, it will be the largest man-made source of power, surpassing thermal, nuclear, and even hydropower.

Adani Green Energy has also significantly increased its operational capacity, expanding by 34% year-over-year to reach 11,184 MW in the first half of FY25.

This includes substantial greenfield additions, such as 2,000 MW of solar capacity and 250 MW of wind capacity in Khavda, as well as additional projects in Rajasthan and Gujarat.

The company is well on its way to meeting its ambitious target of 50 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030, which will include at least 5 GW of energy storage.
