In a horrifying occurrence, neighbors in the Sitapur district beat a Muslim couple to death with iron rods and sticks. Police claimed that the old couple died because of romantic connection between the victim’s son and the daughter of one of the accused. Three persons have been detained in connection with the case.
Chakresh Mishra, the superintendent of police in Sitapur, claimed that a girl from a neighboring family had eloped with Abbas’s son a few years prior. In this context, a complaint was filed, and Abbas’s son was imprisoned. Police said that after Abbas’ son was let out of jail a few days prior, some family members plotted to attack the couple.

The son of the deceased couple allegedly had an affair with Shaukat Rampal’s daughter Ruby, according to the villagers. Ruby had been kidnapped by Shaukat in the year 2020. Ruby was a minor at the time, and after filing a report, the police booked Shaukat. In June, he kidnapped Ruby once more and wed her,” claimed Chakresh Mishra.
According to police, the three primary suspects have all been taken into custody, and the search is on for the other two.

Such case throw light on the darkest sides of the society. While the crime is committed by somebody else, the one who is suffering is somebody else. Rationalization of thoughts is definitely missing in this case. While there are many places where even the guilty are not getting the appropriate punishment, there appear cases like these where the innocent are killed.
The couple was brutally beaten to death using rods. Communal hatred and such differences have divided the nation since 1947. Such is the difference appearing once again in such a news. The concept of logical thinking and also trust on the legal system is missing.
