‘Hope, Happiness And Good Health’: PM Modi’s Navratri Day 4 Message

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended greetings to the people on the fourth day of Sharad Navratri, praying to Maa Kushmanda for hope, happiness, prosperity and good health.

Taking to social media platform X, PM Modi said the day is dedicated to the worship of the fourth manifestation of Goddess Durga. He further prayed that her boundless energy would bring new hope, happiness, prosperity and good health to all Indians.

The Prime Minister also shared a YouTube link featuring devotional songs dedicated to the Goddess, including Telugu folk music celebrating Durga.

Maa Kushmanda is worshipped on the fourth day of Navratri.

According to Hindu tradition, she created the universe with her divine smile, bringing light and energy to the cosmos. She symbolises creative energy, warmth and new beginnings.

Devotees seek the Goddess’s blessings for strength, good health, prosperity and happiness. They offer prayers and perform special rituals to honour her and seek her grace.

Sharad Navratri is a nine-day Hindu festival dedicated to the nine manifestations of Goddess Durga.

Devotees observe fasts, perform rituals and offer prayers each day to seek the blessings of the divine feminine power.

The festival concludes with Vijayadashami, also known as Dussehra. The occasion symbolises the victory of good over evil and the triumph of righteousness.
