Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will visit Uttarakhand on Saturday to participate as the chief guest at the Uttarakhand Investment Festival and Global Investors Summit Grounding Ceremony.
Organisers will begin the event at 1:15 PM at the Manoj Sarkar Stadium in Rudrapur, marking a significant step forward in the state’s industrial and economic development.
The ceremony marks the implementation phase of investment agreements made during the Global Investors Summit.
Top industrialists, business leaders, and representatives from newly established industries across multiple sectors are expected to attend.
The event highlights the government’s ongoing efforts to convert investment commitments into tangible industrial projects.
Amit Shah’s presence underscores the central government’s focus on boosting investment and building economic infrastructure in Uttarakhand.
His participation sends a clear message of national support for the state’s development agenda.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who will also attend the ceremony, reaffirmed the state’s commitment to fast-tracking industrial projects.
“We will turn investment promises into real projects. These efforts are already creating new employment opportunities for Uttarakhand’s youth,” he said.
CM Dhami added that the state is offering comprehensive support to investors, from quick approvals and necessary infrastructure to a peaceful and industry-friendly environment.
Dhami emphasised that Uttarakhand is rapidly becoming a preferred destination for industries due to its skilled workforce, natural advantages, and stable governance. The grounding ceremony aims to showcase this transformation and attract further investments.
Alongside the investment grounding, the state government will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for several infrastructure and development projects, reinforcing its commitment to economic growth and civic development.
Today’s event will boost investor confidence and accelerate the rollout of key industrial projects, positioning Uttarakhand as a rising industrial hub in the Himalayan region.
