To facilitate this process, a committee has been formed, comprising both Congress and BJP MLAs. Chaired by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan, the committee includes Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh, Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh, and several other MLAs. This committee will review input from various stakeholders and submit its recommendations to the state government.
Once the committee provides its detailed recommendations, the Cabinet will evaluate them before finalizing any decisions.
Minister Vikramaditya Singh had previously stated that all street vendors, particularly those selling food, would need to display their identities, citing similar measures in Uttar Pradesh. He also mentioned that the Food and Civil Supplies Department would ensure that food sold by these vendors meets hygiene standards and that vendors possess the necessary licenses.
