Delhi Man sacrifices life to save injured biker in Accident
In a heartbreaking turn of events near Kargil Chowk in Southwest Delhi on November 3, a selfless act of helping a fellow biker took a fatal turn, leaving one man dead and another injured.
Amarjeet Singh, en route to Gurugram, found himself in the midst of the tragedy when his car was struck from behind by a motorcycle around 10.20 pm. Upon investigation, Singh and his companion discovered the injured biker, seemingly intoxicated and suffering from a head injury.

Good Samaritans, including 46-year-old Shamsher Singh, stopped to assist. The police were summoned, and in the interim, a compassionate individual volunteered to transport the injured biker to the hospital. Singh and Shamsher assisted in getting the injured man into the car, which departed for the hospital.
Tragically, as Shamsher was preparing to leave on his motorcycle after the rescue effort, he was violently struck by a speeding water tanker. The impact was so severe that he was thrown into the air, succumbing to the injuries upon landing.

In a desperate pursuit of justice, Amarjeet Singh chased the water tanker, eventually overtaking it in the Goyla Dairy area. However, the driver abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene.
A case has been registered against the water tanker driver, and investigations are underway. The first injured biker is currently receiving medical attention in a hospital.
This incident serves as a stark reminder of the unpredictability of life, where a selfless act of kindness led to an unimaginable tragedy on the streets of Delhi.
