PRAYAGRAJ: The Allahabad High Court on Tuesday took suo moto cognizance of the increasing cases of Dengue fever in Prayagraj district.
The bench comprising Chief Justice Pritinker Diwaker and Justice Ajay Bhanot took note of the increasing Mosquito-Borne Diseases in the city of Prayagraj after many lawyers reported that they were suffering from Dengue and Chikungunya.
The court also enquired from the Additional Advocate General if the State Government has in place any mechanism to find out which genome of malaria is prominent.
The details were also sought about the structure and procedure in government to figure out which strain is prevalent and how are they managing it at the level of public and departments.
