Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel H.D. Kumaraswamy accused individuals vying for the Chief Minister’s position of exposing the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) land scam.
After visiting the Chamundeshwari temple in Mysuru, Kumaraswamy, during a press briefing, compared the MUDA scandal to a previous sex video scandal, stating, “The CD factory has been closed, and now the MUDA factory is open.” He pointed out that Deputy Chief Minister Shivakumar, the party president, revealed the MUDA scandal.

Furthermore, Kumaraswamy suggested that Shivakumar was involved in distributing CDs of sex videos featuring former JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna, who is currently incarcerated.
“The land scam, hidden for years, has now come to light because those aspiring to become the Chief Minister are involved,” Kumaraswamy alleged.
He claimed to have detailed information about the scam, including how CM Siddaramaiah’s wife acquired land. Kumaraswamy urged Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who is demanding Rs 62 crore in compensation, to also advocate for farmers who have lost their lands and are now displaced.
Additionally, Kumaraswamy announced his plans to participate in the Janata Darshan in the Mandya Parliamentary constituency to address the grievances of the people.
