Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday highlighted the importance of political continuity and stable governance while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Sardardham educational complex in Vadodara, Gujarat. He stated that sustained political stability directly contributes to economic advancement, stronger administration and accelerated development.
The event witnessed the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Sardar Dham President Gagji Sutar and several prominent dignitaries.
During his address, PM Modi referred to recent Assembly election outcomes in West Bengal, Assam and Puducherry. He remarked that the results had generated widespread enthusiasm across the nation and reflected public confidence in governance and development-oriented leadership.
The Prime Minister also mentioned Gujarat’s recent local body and panchayat election results, describing them as significant and nationally discussed. He asserted that Gujarat’s electorate has consistently prioritised political stability and administrative continuity.
PM Modi emphasised that stable governance improves institutional efficiency and strengthens economic performance. He stated that Gujarat recognised the relationship between continuity and development much earlier and benefited substantially through sustained policy implementation.
Prime Minister Modi further noted that long-term voter support often reflects confidence in governance quality and developmental policies.
According to him, public trust grows when governments maintain consistency in administration and delivery mechanisms.
The Prime Minister stressed that grassroots democratic participation strengthens institutions and enhances governance outcomes at every level. He added that Gujarat’s development journey demonstrates how political continuity can shape both economic growth and electoral trends over time.
Earlier during the programme, community organisations from the Patidar society conferred the ‘Sardar Gaurav Ratna’ upon the Prime Minister. He also inaugurated Sardar Dham Bhavan-3 and announced several educational and social initiatives, including the launch of the Sardar Dham Education Support Yojana with an allocation of Rs 500 crore.
