The Greater Noida Police have made a significant breakthrough in curbing a gang responsible for stealing vehicles from construction sites. This gang, known for its repeated thefts, was finally apprehended by the authorities, leading to the arrest of five individuals and the recovery of stolen vehicles.
The arrested individuals, identified as Asif, Mukund, Kapil, Tushar, and Javed, were notorious for their criminal activities, primarily targeting construction sites. Their modus operandi involved sneaking into under-construction areas, stealing parked vehicles, and even absconding with construction barricades. The police revealed that these criminals would brazenly escape by cutting through the Eastern Peripheral Expressway mesh, evading capture until now.
The police officials disclosed that the gang had a record of more than a dozen theft incidents, creating a significant challenge for law enforcement. Their consistent criminal activities made them a persistent headache for the police, prompting swift action resulting in their arrests. Upon apprehending the suspects, law enforcement recovered an Eicher Canter vehicle and a luxury car, along with an Eicher tractor and a damaged Ford Fiesta.
Currently in custody at the Greater Noida Dadri Kotwali police station, these accused individuals are undergoing interrogation. The authorities suspect the possible involvement of others in this criminal enterprise and are diligently pursuing leads to dismantle the entire network.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work towards dismantling any remaining elements of this gang and bringing all responsible individuals to justice.
