Governor Shukla, Acharya Lokesh Highlight Human Values At Viksit Bharat Symposium

Telangana Governor Shiv Prakash Shukla and Jain Acharya Lokesh addressed the inaugural session of a symposium on ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ organised by the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha at the MCEME Auditorium in Secunderabad on September 21, 2026.

The event brought together military officers, social workers, youth and eminent personalities from various fields to discuss India’s development vision.

Governor Shiv Prakash Shukla said India’s development must give equal importance to education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, environmental protection, social harmony and human values.

He said India’s role goes beyond becoming an economic power, highlighting its potential to promote peace, coexistence and human values globally. Shukla also referred to India’s ancient knowledge traditions and the principle of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, saying they could guide the world towards peace and cooperation amid multiple challenges.

Jain Acharya Lokesh called upon the youth to take an active role in building a prosperous and glorious India. He said the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ should encompass not only economic progress but also ethical, spiritual, social and human values.

Acharya Lokesh further highlighted Ahimsa, compassion, truth, coexistence and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam as key values for a developed India. He stressed that achieving the 2047 vision would require collective participation from every section of society.

He said the energy of youth, discipline of soldiers, talent of scientists, innovation of entrepreneurs and guidance from social and religious leaders could collectively strengthen nation-building efforts.

The symposium discussed youth participation, national security, social unity, ethical values and India’s global role.

Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha National President Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi, Major General N. Srinivasa Rao and MDK Awasthi welcomed the guests. Senior military officers and social workers also attended.
