Government’s Budget Wins Praise For Catering To All Sections Of Society

The latest budget has received widespread acclaim for its comprehensive and robust approach, addressing the needs of every segment of society. The Muslim Rashtriya Manch, a prominent organization, has praised the government for presenting a balanced budget that prioritizes holistic development.

₹1.48 Lakh Crore for Education

The budget allocates ₹1.48 lakh crore for education, a 30% increase, promising a bright future for the youth. Dr. Shahid Akhtar, National Convenor of the Muslim National Forum, highlighted the potential for new opportunities and employment.

Special Provisions for Women

The budget also prioritizes women’s empowerment, with provisions for hostels, crèches, and employment schemes. Dr. Shalini Ali, National Women’s Convenor, commended the government’s commitment to supporting women.

Cancer Treatment to Become Cheaper

Other notable allocations include ₹90,000 crore for health services, ₹3 lakh crore for schemes benefiting women and girls, and ₹10 lakh crore for urban housing. The budget also raises the standard deduction limit and adjusts tax rates, providing relief to taxpayers.

All-Round Attention in the Budget

Shahid Saeed, National Media Incharge of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, emphasized that the budget addresses every section of society, making it a commendable effort by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
