General (Retd.) VK Singh took the oath as the Governor of Mizoram in a grand and significant ceremony held at the Raj Bhavan in Aizawl. Following Article 159 of the Indian Constitution, he pledged to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution, as well as to perform his duties with integrity and loyalty. To honor him, a guard of honor was presented by the Mizoram Police.
